One Thousand Pages.
One Vision.

This site serves as a growing repository for the more than one thousand pages assembled as part of the Lynx Concept Study. While most of the material is entirely public, there are some competition-sensitive aspects of the Costing Methodologies Book and Technology Roadmaps that NASA has deemed “Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU)”. Those materials are therefore not contained at the links below, though they have been submitted to the Decadal Survey as part of the Technology Readiness and Cost Evaluation (TRACE) process.

As part of the Concept Study Phase, the Lynx Team commissioned five independent cost estimates, the results of which are summarized in a >200 page Cost Book. This book has been submitted to the relevant Astro2020 Panels as well as The Aerospace Corp. as part of the TRACE process. It is not posted here because the document is rated Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) by NASA. A redacted version will be made publicly available soon.
